We hope you can stay involved and connected over the summer. There are a couple opportunities to really connect and grow and have a blast, and we hope that you will be able to find yourself at one of these events. More details will be posted for these as the summer draws nearer; however, you should take note now and save the dates!

Summer Lake Party

Saturday June 5th – (assuming there is water in Lake Oroville)

Into The City

San Francisco Inner City Mission Adventure: June 20th – 25th

Junior High Camp

6th – 8th grades camp at Mt. Hope: July 5th – 9th

High School Camp

9th – graduates camp at Bucks Lake: August 2nd – 5th

Jr/Sr Retreat

For those going into their senior year and graduates: July 22nd – 25th

LifeGroups

Get together with other people that are on the journey of making God first in there lives. Pick a group and commit to meet together and do life together. There are 3 groups for you to pick from. They will all meet at different times and will go from the second week of February through the second week of May. While you aren’t guaranteed to grow, you get out of a LifeGroup what you put into it. So sign up, give it all you got, and may this be a season of life when you grow more than you could have ever imagined. Check out the groups for this spring:

Battlefield – Leader: Twila

This group is about body image and seeing yourself through the eyes of God. We will also be taking a deeper look at common eating disorders and what to do about it. If you struggle with this or just want to know more, this is an all girls group that meets Mondays from 6-7:30pm at the Axiom.

Wired – Leader: Dave

This group is all about how to have a grown up faith. We cover all sorts of things about your faith and what it means to grow closer to God. It is a safe place to ask tough questions really understand what it means to be a Christ follower. We meet Thursday nights from 4:30-6:00pm at the Axiom.

MOTUS 2.O – Leader: Lexi

Enjoy Motus? Take it to the next level with Motus 2.0. Take a deeper look at the topics that come up at Motus, and discuss with friends how you can really apply it to your life. It will be based on what you are learning, but more personal and more intentional. We will meet Tuesday nights, 7:00 – 8:30pm at the Axiom.

God Time – Leader: Shawn

Most people know they should be spending quiet time with God, but don’t know how to do it. This group will take a look at different approaches to spending time with God that range from a thousand years old, to brand new ideas. If you can crawl out of bed in time, you’ll have a chance to learn habits that will stick with you for the rest of your life. Tuesday Mornings, 6:30 – 7:30am @ Axiom.

School Is In

Look out. Summer is over. School is in. All of a sudden, you have homework to do. It’s crazy how fast it comes back. Soon enough, everything from summer will be rubbing off. No more summer camp high. No more sun tan. No more heat rashes. No more water balloon fights. But with the fall comes fun. We’re less than a month out from our next playday, which is going to be awesome. We hope that school doesn’t ruin your life. If you want to hang out, The Axiom is open Tuesday through Friday at 3pm. It’s here for you. Fall is upon us. Let’s celebrate with some iced caramel macchiattos and a game of pool.

Middle School Students

The Coterie meets every Monday night at OroNaz at 6:30pm. We hang out, have tons of fun, play crazy games, and learn about how we fit into God’s story. It is the best thing happening in Oroville on Monday nights. See you there!

High School Students

Motus is a gathering of high school students that meets at the Axiom every Wednesday night at 7pm. It is a movement where life and God collide. We laugh together. We learn together. We sing together. TEEN BIBLE QUIZZING
