Hey there campers. You should have gotten a phone call on Saturday if you are going to camp. Everyone is meeting at the church at 7am on Monday. We will ride a mini bus to camp, so pack light. One suitcase, a sleeping bag and a pillow. If you still owe money for camp, make sure that you bring a check made out to Sacramento District Camps for the balance. We will be leaving the church at 7:15am.
On Friday, we will ride back with the Auburn church on their bus as far as Roseville. We will arrive in Roseville at 3:30pm, where a group of parents will be waiting to bring everyone back to Oroville. We should arrive home at 5:00pm on Friday afternoon.
Parents, if you are helping transport kids back on Friday, you will be receiving a call Thursday evening about the exact location of the drop-off/pick-up in Roseville. You can meet at the church at 2:00pm and head down together if you wish. We will also post the details on thenaz.net as they become known.
We are leaving for camp on Monday morning. Bright and early. There are a few details that are yet to be finalized; however, you should be getting a phone call if you are already registered on sacramentocamps.org tomorrow. Kurt Libby is finalizing the details that will be communicated over the phone tomorrow. As a heads up, there is the possibility that your luggage may need to be transported to camp on Sunday, which would require you to pack and drop your stuff off at the church on Sunday morning. All the details will also be posted to this website as soon as they are finalized.
As for the trip home on Friday, there are 2 parents that have already communicated with Kurt that they are willing to drive. If any other parents can help transport kids home on Friday, please call Kurt at 530 570 9199, or email him at kurt @ thenaz . net. (only run all that together.) We will be riding on Auburn’s church bus on the way home and parents will be picking us up in Roseville. It will shorten the trip, so if you can help out, you know what to do.
So…it’s that magical time again…when school is out and camp is on the horizon. If you’ve ever been to one of our camps…than it goes without saying that you will not want to miss it! The rapidly approaching District Spectacular is filling up! Get an e-mail to Kurt (misterlib [at] gmail [dot] com) as soon as you can. Remember that you must have a liability release on file. You can get one from the download section if you aren’t sure. It’s 15 bucks with just broom ball and hang out time, 25 for the first tier of gaming tournaments (dodgeball, 3 on 3 basketball, etc.), and 35 bucks if you are playing on the soccer or volleyball team. We meet at the church at 7 pm 6:30 pm on Friday night. Don’t be late!
